Thomas Fraps is a professional magician whose act combines illusions, comedy, and science. Thomas received awards at the FISM World Championship of Magic in Lisbon (2000), from Siegfried & Roy in Las Vegas (1998) and from The Academy of Magical Arts and Sciences in Hollywood (2006). All for his original approach to performing with an ensemble-cast of German magicians called The Flicking Fingers (which he co-founded).
So far, he is the only magician to have been portrayed in the journal Nature, and he has contributed to a series of scientific papers on the psychology of magic tricks.
