SoMA 2024 Conference Travel

Accommodation:

• The conference venue will be the Golden Nugget Casino located at 129 E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101

• The Conference will begin at with registration and coffee at 9:00 in the morning Tuesday 12 November and the final scheduled event will take place from 20:30 in the evening on Wednesday 13 November

  • The casino also offers hotel accommodation, and we have a deal that locks in cost of rooms (normally, they have dynamic pricing, which could potentially spike upwards as we get closer to the event date)

  • If you’re booking well in advance, I would also suggest you have a rummage online for Air + Hotel packages; you might be able to save some money by bundling your hotel stay and flights. (Just be sure to watch out for hidden fees!)

Travel:

• The closest airport is Harry Reid International (LAS).

• The Golden Nugget does not directly provide hotel transportation from the airport; however, there is an airport shuttle available.  Their booth is located outside Terminal 1 baggage claim door 12 and outside Terminal 3 baggage claim door 52.  Transportation can be arranged by calling 702-472-8688.

• Taxis can be found in both terminal 1 and 3

• Note: The Golden Nugget is located on the ‘Old Strip,’ which is in a different location from today’s Main Vegas Strip.

Meals:

• Coffee be provided at the venue on both the conference days to registered attendees, lunch will be provided on Day 1.

  • And there are also loads of additional options within walking distance along Freemont St

• We will reserve a local bar space for attendees to gather (precise venue TBA soon)
